Douye Ajeh, also professionally known as “DY” is an astutely creative Nigerian singer, songwriter, music director, music arranger and record producer.

Douye Ajeh was born in Bayelsa State, where he hails from, into a family of 6, and being the first of 6 children, he’s been saddled with the position of leadership since his childhood.

Since his early primary school days, in PortHarcourt, he has been involved with several service roles in his local Baptist church where he was raised.

With over 20 years ( and counting ) of being involved with music, He began his vocal journey at an early age, singing in the children choir and he also learned to play several musical instruments!

He is a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Niger Delta University (NDU), and while on campus, he served in The Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students, (NIFES) as music director, subzonal president, and later zonal president for the bayelsa state chapter.

He is also a committed worship leader at his home church, The Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA) Global, Headquartered in Abuja Nigeria, and pastored by the Quintessential Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo and Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo.

He has a deep revelation of the love of God, and at the core of his ministry and career is the desire to keep serving, to keep learning, and to keep reinventing himself as well as raising other worship leaders. This is what drives, fuels and ignites his passion.
